Missing the *Whack* Point…
Well, if nothing else, this blog providesa valuable service to society. Okay, not valuable, and arguably, not even a service.
It has come to my attention that, if nothing else, this blog is a (somewhat) regular source for “Google-whacking.” Here’s the story: Evidently, google-whacking is a competition wherein competitors get points for finding phrases that produce only one result on Google. Find that word, or exact combination of words, and gain points.
Evidently, I use words and phrases that no one else uses. Anywhere. Ever.
It makes me wonder if they actually read my stuff (hope so), or if they just look for my statistically improbable verbiage. So, there’s a part of me that feels a bit insulted, but the truth is, as an eclecticist-completist, I kind of like it.
